What is intermodal transport?
Intermodal transport is a modern logistics solution that involves transporting goods using at least two different modes of transport – for example road, rail, sea or air. A key element of this system is that the cargo remains in one loading unit (e.g. a semi-trailer) throughout the transport process, which minimises the risk of damage and reduces handling times.
Our offer
We specialise in road-rail transport.
We offer a permanent rail connection Poland – Germany on the route:
- Olsztyn
- Krzewie – Multimodal Terminal Miratrans: Our own terminal, which allows us to maintain the high quality and flexibility of our services
- Ludwigshafen – KTL Kombi-Terminal: Hub from which intermodal units can be transported to practically every region of Europe
The train consists of pocket wagons and container platforms, which enables us to transport a number of intermodal units: huckepack trailers, 20′, 30′, 40′, 45′ containers, and swap bodies.
We offer a comprehensive service including collection and delivery of goods to the indicated address using road transport.
We also invite logistics companies with intermodal units to use our train. For logistics companies that do not have intermodal trailers but want to try intermodal transport, we offer the possibility to rent trailers.
We are working on launching new direct connections from our multimodal terminal in Krzewie to Benelux, Polish ports, southern Europe, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. We are open to creating further connections depending on market needs.

What are the advantages of intermodal (road-rail) transport over road transport?
- Combining the efficiency of rail transport with the flexibility of road transport: Rail transport is ideal for transporting large volumes of goods over long distances, while road transport provides the flexibility of door-to-door delivery.
- Significant reduction in CO₂ emissions: Rail is one of the most environmentally friendly modes of transport, allowing a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to road transport.
- Support for customers’ green policies: The use of intermodal transport fits in with the sustainability strategies and environmental objectives of many companies, helping them to achieve their environmental goals.
- Fixed timetable: Railways offer regular and fixed timetables, allowing for better planning and predictability of deliveries.
- More reliable transport run times: Rail transport is less susceptible to disruptions such as traffic jams or accidents, resulting in more reliable delivery times.
- No driving bans at weekends and public holidays: Rail is not subject to the traffic restrictions that apply to road transport on weekends and public holidays, allowing transport to continue without interruption.
- Increased safety of transported goods: Rail transport is safer, with less risk of theft and damage to goods compared to road transport.
